The Senqu Bridge is a strategic cross-border infrastructure linking Lesotho and South Africa across the Senqu (Orange) River. More than just a physical connection, the bridge represents a critical step toward strengthening regional integration within the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

By improving transport efficiency and reducing trade bottlenecks, the Senqu Bridge enhances the movement of goods, services, and people, directly supporting the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area. It stands as a symbol of how targeted infrastructure investment can unlock economic potential, deepen intra-African trade, and connect communities across borders.
